VRAISOI holds a picture of your style. That is personal, and it is treated that way.

Last updated 8 October 2026

The short version

VRAISOI collects what it needs in order to learn your style, and nothing beyond that. It does not sell your personal information. It does not share it for cross-context advertising. It does not build a profile of you for anybody but you. There are no advertising or analytics services in it, and no tracking cookies. You can delete your account, and within a day everything attached to it is erased.

What is collected

Today an account holds the following.

  • Your email address, which is how you log in.
  • A username, a name, and your state and ZIP code, if you choose to give them. All of them are optional. We do not ask for your street address.
  • Your country, language and currency, and your time zone.
  • What you save, keep, search for and turn down inside VRAISOI, including the pictures you add and the ones you search with. This is the material your style is read from.
  • Your sizes and, if you give them, your body measurements (bust, waist, hip, inseam and foot), so that VRAISOI can suggest a size. They are optional.
  • When you agreed to these terms and this policy, and which version of them you saw.
  • Ordinary technical records of requests to the service, kept so that faults and abuse can be found. Your IP address is among them, and is also counted for an hour or so to stop somebody trying passwords or sending messages in bulk.

Your state and ZIP code are used for one thing: when you turn on prices with tax, they estimate the sales tax on a price. The estimate is worked out inside VRAISOI and shown to you with your ZIP code. When you ask the assistant about a piece, it is given the same line without the ZIP code, so Google’s model sees the name of your state and never your ZIP code. Neither is sent to any other service.

If you turn on banners, we keep the address your browser or phone gives us for sending them, with a short name for the device such as “iPhone”, and a record of each notice we told you about, where it went and whether you opened it. Turning banners off in Settings, or in your browser, stops them; deleting your account deletes the device addresses at once.

When you write to us with Ask for help or Leave feedback, we receive your words and the email address we can reply to. With Ask for help we also receive the page you are on, your browser, your screen size and whether you asked for less motion, unless you untick the box that says so. It arrives in our inbox as an email and is not stored in VRAISOI.

Your password is never stored. The identity provider holds it as a hash, so VRAISOI never sees the password itself and cannot recover it for you.

What it is used for

To run your account, to learn your style and reflect it back to you, to find things that genuinely fit it, to tell you when something you saved changes, in the ways you have chosen in Settings, and to keep the service working and secure. That is the whole list.

It is also counted together with everybody else’s, never alone. Home’s season suggests a colour or a piece when more people saved it this month than the month before. What reaches anybody is a count of at least ten people, never who they were, and a person on our side reads each suggestion before it is published. Saves VRAISOI read from a picture, rather than ones you made yourself, are not counted, and nor are deleted accounts.

We do not train a model on it, and it is not used to target advertising. What Google may do with what its models read is said under “Who else sees it”.

Who else sees it

A small number of services VRAISOI runs on, each doing one job for it.

  • Vercel serves the application.
  • Supabase stores the data and your pictures, and handles logging in.
  • Google, through its Gemini models, reads the pictures you keep and the ones you search with, and the words of your searches and of your conversations with the assistant, so that your style can be read from them. When you talk to the assistant, it is also given what it needs to answer you: what is in your Wishlist and your Collection, your style as VRAISOI reads it, the colours, materials, kinds of piece and brands you told us you like or avoid, your shopping rules, the names of the visions that show why a piece may suit you, whether a shop has your size (never the size itself), and the price lines it shows you, which name your state when prices with tax are on. Today this is done under the unpaid tier of Google’s Gemini API terms, which let Google use what it reads to improve its products, and let people at Google read it for that. The paid tier does not, and this page will say when VRAISOI moves to it.
  • Resend sends the mail VRAISOI sends you: the codes and links for signing up, logging in and changing your password or email address, and the notices that one of them has changed. It also delivers what you write to us.
  • Cloudflare runs the vraisoi.com domain’s DNS, which tells your browser where VRAISOI is, and passes mail sent to vraisoi.com addresses on to our inbox, which is kept by Google (Gmail).
  • Wikidata is asked where the season’s brands come from and when they began. Only the brands’ names are sent; nothing about you is.
  • If you turn on banners, the push service your browser uses (Apple’s, Google’s or Mozilla’s) carries each banner to your device.

That is the whole list. VRAISOI uses no analytics, advertising or error-tracking services. The few cookies it sets are the ones it needs to work, and the cookie policy names every one.

When you follow a link to a retailer you are on their site, under their policy rather than this one. VRAISOI does not hand them your details.

What is never done

Your personal information is not sold. It is not shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. It is not used to infer anything about you outside of style. See Do not sell my info.

How long it is kept

For as long as your account exists. When you delete it in Settings, you are logged out, your login details are removed, your conversations with the assistant and the addresses banners go to are deleted, and your email address and username are released so that you can use them again, all at once. Within a day, everything else attached to the account is erased too: what you saved and kept, your pictures, your style, your lists and the record of what you did in VRAISOI. Copies in backups are gone within 30 days, because no backup is kept longer than that.

When you remove a vision or a piece, its pictures are deleted from storage within a day. A picture you search with is kept for 30 days, so that the results can be opened again, and is then deleted unless you saved it.

What you write to us stays in our inbox for up to two years, so that we can follow a conversation if you write again, and is then deleted, whether or not you have an account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what is held about you, correct it, delete it, take a copy elsewhere, or object to some uses. In Settings, under Your data, you can download a copy of everything held about your account, as a file, with a link to each of your pictures that works for 7 days, and delete the account. Most of it you can correct there too. For anything else, write to privacy@vraisoi.com and you will get an answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the account, so that nobody else can make it for you. You will not be treated differently for asking.

Children

VRAISOI is not for people under 13. Signing up asks you to confirm that you are 13 or older, and we do not knowingly hold anything about a younger child. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to privacy@vraisoi.com and we will delete it.

Changes

When this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we write to the email address on your account before it takes effect. Privacy questions go to privacy@vraisoi.com. VRAISOI is run by [ENTITY NAME AND REGISTERED ADDRESS].
